Senegal is one of the most sophisticated retail markets in West Africa. The opening of Teylium's Sea Plaza development, adjacent to the new Radisson Blu hotel, has seen the market take a quantum leap with the scheme becoming Dakar's first major destination and lifestyle mall, providing visitors with a bowling alley and a multiplex cinema.

Aside from the major shopping centres there is boutique retail throughout the peninsular of Dakar in areas such as Point E and Les Almadies.
